THE PSYCHOSOCIAL CLINIC

The Psychosocial Foundation is invested in anti-fascist, movement psychoanalysis. Drawing on the traditions of radical tendencies in psychoanalysis and the reinvigorated free/community psychoanalysis movement, in 2025, the Psychosocial Foundation will begin offering peer supervision for clinicians, a telephonic clinic for patients, and movement-facing psychoanalytic consultation for organizing collectives.

Telephonic Clinic

In 2025, The Psychosocial Foundation will offer low and free psychoanalytically-oriented psychotherapy by phone (and sometimes, in person). We do not collect data about any of the treatments. We are currently especially in need of clinicians working in Michigan, Maryland, Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Florida, Bulgaria, UK, Germany, Canada, & France. For prospective patients, please note that our wait times vary greatly, but please know we are doing our very best to find a clinician for you.

Supervision

The Psychosocial Foundation offers supervision for those who want or need it, who participate in our clinic.

Groups Group

Groups Group is a collective of clinicians, organizers, writers, artists, and scholars interested in group dynamics in the everyday life of social movements. Drawing from psychoanalysis, as well as systems thinking and leftist traditions, we are building a shared vocabulary of concepts that help us identify, articulate, and work through latent group dynamics on the left.
